Arriving by car
No matter whether you are coming from Zurich or Winterthur, the Atzmännig tourist area is easily accessible from anywhere by car. To make sure you will find us, please refer to the directions below. Even if you rely on your navigation system, please make sure to keep our information about the fastest route in mind. We wish you a nice journey and are looking forward to your visit!
Arriving from Zurich – journey time around 60 minutes
From Zurich North you will stay on A1/A53 towards Uster until the end of the highway and continue via Hinwil to Wald. In Wald go towards Goldingen (Atzmännig) at the roundabout. From there you will follow the sign for Atzmännig.
From Zurich downtown or Zurich Forch take A52.
From Zurich West you will take A3 towards Reichenburg. Take A53 at the interchange towards Hinwil. Exit at Eschenbach (St. Gallenkappel, Wattwil, St. Gallen). Take a left at the stop light and follow the sign to Goldingen (Atzmännig).
From Winterthur – journey time around 70 minutes
From Winterthur you take the main road no. 15 (towards Winterthur-Seen). Via Turbenthal, Bauma, Fischenthal and Gibswil you will get to Wald. From here you will go towards Goldingen (Atzmännig) at the roundabout before you follow the sign to Atzmännig.
Information for navigation systems
As a destination enter «Goldingen, Atzmännigstrasse». Keep on driving via Goldingen to Atzmännig. Sometimes your navigation system will lead you via a narrow road to St. Gallenkappel, Rüeterswil. We do not recommend this route.
Arriving by public transport
Bus stop Atzmännig, Schutt – next to the Atzmännig Lodge restaurant
PostBus operates daily and by the hour from Uznach, Eschenbach to Atzmännig. The VZO bus from Rapperswil, Rüti ZH (connected to S5), Wald operates on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesday afternoons. The bus operates daily from 27.12.22-06.01.2023 an from 30.01.-03.03.2023.
