Restaurant Chrüzegg
The mountain restaurant is located at an altitude of 1,265 m.a.s.l. From here, enjoy the panoramic view onto Lake Zurich, Lake Constance and the St. Gall, Glarus, Central Swiss and Bernese Alps. A three-hour hike leads you from the mountain-top station Atzmännig to the Chrüzegg, and then down to the valley station.
The guesthouse is a popular destination for families and associations who enjoy hiking. It also offers a place to stay overnight in either double, multi-bed or dormitory-style rooms. A recent addition is the renovated Alphüttli which offers dormitory-style bunking and a den. This accommodation is ideal for schools or associations. A dining room which seats 80 is also available.
During the season when the cows are on the mountain, the Chrüzegg produces its own cheese which can be obtained at the restaurant. Enjoy the home-made lemonade at the Chrüzegg. Click here for further details.
