Giant Slide

Atzmännig is home to Switzerland's first and most attractive giant slide (toboggan run).

Take the chairlift to the start up on the mountain, jump in an individual or a double cart and off you go! You will reach the goal by passing through tilting curves, tunnels and over creeks. It's truly an enjoyable slide downwards! You define the speed as the carts easily respond to commands to increase or decrease the speed.

The rates include the chair lift up to the middle station, the slide ride, as well as an extra ride on the sliding tower.

Is it your birthday?
Anyone whose birthday is on the day they come and ride the slide gets to go for free. Just show us your ID.

Single or double?
There are single or double carts. All of them are ready for your enjoyment at the middle station.

Children?
Children 8 years old or older may use the slide by themselves. Younger children are also allowed on the giant slide but only if they are accompanied by an adult. The recommended minimum age to use the slide is 2 years.

And what happens if the weather won't play along?
For safety reasons, we do not operate the slide if it is wet due to dew or rain. Should a quick shower make the slide wet, we will do our utmost to make the giant slide operational again as quickly as possible.

Hiking to the middle station?
The middle station (where the giant slide starts) can only be reached by chairlift as no hiking trails lead to the starting point.
