Chairlift
The double-seated chairlift will transport you up to the Alp Atzmännig 1200 m.a.s.l. From there, enjoy an absolutely breath-taking view onto the Linth Valley, Lake Zurich, and the alps of St.Gall, Appenzell, Glarus, Schwyz und Berne. On a clear day, you can see Mount Rigi, Mount Pilatus (both near Lucerne) and the famous trio Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau (near Interlaken).
A mere 150 m next to the mountain-top station, you will find the mountain restaurant Atzmännig.
There are numerous interesting and well-marked hiking trails that will take you in various directions. The Spatz Männi Play-Hike is a one-hour route from the mountain station, back to the valley station.
We highly recommend the 3-hour-long hike which will take you from the mountain-top station to the Tweralpspitz to Chrüzegg (mountain restaurant!), and back to the valley station. other routes.
